Can you please post the name of the detection?

Meanwhile I'll ask someone to move this to the appropriate spot.

Re: Mcafee threatening McAfeeTestSample.exe as Trojan

Hi all,

this is a normal behavior. We see this with any installation. As "TestSample" means, it is a sample which should be detected to check it TIE is working. :-)

So, if you do not want this event, configure VSE/ENS not to scan the file or remove the events from EPO with a Servertask.

Cheers

Troja +1

It's a sample. You can filter for your detection reports excluding the TIE detection: TIE/Suspect!c80e9
