DXL Broker not show up in ePO-> Data Exchange Layer Fabric

Jump to solution

Hi Heroes,

I installed 2 Brokers 5.0.2, but only one broker showed up in ePO-> Data Exchange Layer Fabric, anyone knows why?

Can confirm:

1, the 2 brokers has been deteched in ePO server settings-> dxl topology

2, brokers installation are fine, it communicates to ePO correctly.

Hello,

The most common cause for this is a bit of misconfiguration. On the ePO server settings-> dxl topology screen, you need to ensure that the two brokers are either both included in a hub, or are configured in a parent/child relationship.

If both brokers are just listed, they will not communicate with each other. The parent/child relationship can be defined by editing the topology, and dragging and dropping one broker name on the other.

The defined child node will connect to the parent.

Thanks,
Brian
