Best practice - Root password lost Primary TIE Server

Jump to solution

Hello,

We have 2 TIE 3.0.1 servers (1 Primary & 1 Secondary) installed on our network.

Now we've noticed that something went wrong with the root password during the installation of the primary TIE server. We're not able to login with ROOT directly on the VM because of incorrect password.

What is the best practice to reinstall the Primary TIE Server?

When we try to change the Operation Mode of the Secondary TIE server to Primary we get a notification that 2 Primary TIE server may cause inconsistency.

We also have DSL brokers running on these servers. Should we first remove the DXL hub configuration of which those 2 server are a member?

Best Regards,

Ivan
