Bandwidth consumption in one of TIE Server

We have Three TIE server.
One primary and two secondary.

We received a notification from Network Team that In one of TIE servers bandwidth consumption from 7PM to 9PM is high.
We wanted to know how to check, if there's any scheduled/download task during the time.
Also wanted to know how often the TIE Server connects to McAfee GTI and will there be any network consumption during that time.
Wish to know what happens when TIE Server connects to MCAfee GTI
FYI - We have around 4000 endpoints with DXL and ATP active.
Tie version :3.0
Issue in Secondary server.

Re: Bandwidth consumption in one of TIE Server

TIE servers will periodically (once per hour) execute large GTI refreshes of existing files within the database. This operation normally targets up to 100k files per batch, but can be smaller if the DB happens to be smaller. In most cases this does not amount to significant bandwidth consumption as the data itself is quite small. This would also be happening every hour.

As you have mentioned this is a secondary TIE server, I believe what you may have experienced is a full replication of the database from the primary. Was the traffic experienced between those devices? The product normally handles replication with smaller delta updates of the primary DB changes to the secondary, but if this process falls significantly behind a full DB replication may be triggered. This would be evident in the secondary tie servers log at the following location: /tmp/reconfig-tie.log
