Hi,
I have made a connection between a TIE server and a MISP instance with DXL/OpenDXL.
In Python lib dxltieclient, there is a class FileProvider (constants.py) that specifies numbers for each reputation provider :
I wanted to know if it was the same with TIE server and (if it's possible) how to add a specific number in the configuration. My goal is to identify with ui the MISP reputation on my TIE server.
In Python code it's simple, I just have to add my new value, but I don't even know if the reputation will be stored.
I don't know if it's completely understable, sorry for that.
Thank you in advance for reply.

Hello mr54,
The "External reputation provider" was added with TIE 3.0 to serve as a storage location for reputations from other sources as you are describing below. These have to be defined by McAfee engineering and can not be added to on your own.
While the python implementation side might be trivial, the product database and queries would need to be updated to account for any new values in that space.

Hi,
Ok, I suspected this answer..
I thought it could be great to have the capability of adaptive providers, because if I have two different external sources, I will have to choose one of them.
Thank you bbarnes !
