Re: siteadvisor 3.5 patch 5 outlook slowness

Try to disable email annotations.

Try to disable SAE hardening policy so outlook.exe does not get hooked by SAE.

Let me know if this made a difference.

For instructions on how to disable the SAE hardening policy for Browser Helper Protection, see the "Hardening policy for SiteAdvisor Enterprise" section of the Site Advisor Enterprise 3.5.0 Product Guide (PD23522).

Re: siteadvisor 3.5 patch 5 outlook slowness

With the hardening policy enabled, SAE hooks all applications to see if it is IE. To block “iexplore.exe /extoff”, SAE injects into all applications.

Disabling the hardening policy stops SAE from injecting into all other processes.

Yes. By default browser hardening policy is disabled and email annotation policy is enabled.

It will work.
