My users, that receive a link to a shared dropbox document, experience that they get blocked by siteadvisor.
I have tried to allow the site on my EPO server, but this does not seem to have any effect.
It is not dropbox.com that is the problem. This works fine when you logon to your own dropbox and download files, but if another user sends you a link to a shared file, the URL changes to https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com and allowing this site has no effect, it gets blocked everytime.
Im running Siteadvisor 126.96.36.1995 on Windows 8 and IE10. The problem is also on Windows 7 and other versions of IE.
No kidding. It doesn't appear that they care about Site Advisor. Even worse, it came as a part of our Enterprise AV subscription when purchased for our SonicWall firewall. Now they both point to each other to say it's the other guy's support issue. Sounds like I may be dropping McAfee altogether before my next renewal in September. Horrible run around. I'll share if I get any further with this....thanks!
Just tried to create a case with McAfee. Ill post the solution if they find one . I am also seriously looking at other products for when my subscription runs out. Not very happe with the Enterprise product I have.
