How to disable Site Adviser from single PC/Server

Anyone could suggest me, how can i disable Site Adviser from single PC/Server while the PC/Server is managed by ePO.

As the servers are having administrator rights to McAfee agent, unfortunately unable to disable the add on from IE too.

I wanna disable it without removing permanently.

Re: How to disable Site Adviser from single PC/Server

If you're trying to disable the SAEadd-on from IE, if VirusScan is installed, access protection will prevent the SAE add-on from being disabled.

Which IE version do you want SAE disabled and what is the version of SAE & ePO being used?

In ePO, the admin can set a policy for a specific set of computers so that SAE can be disabled by the user or by entering a password to disable it.

Re: How to disable Site Adviser from single PC/Server

Hi vinoo,

Thanks for the info. My SAE& ePO is 3.5 + 5.3.1.

Your suggestion helped me much. I have disabled the "Access Protection" first from "Virus Console" & then stopped the "McShield" service.

Afterwards "IE"(v.11) is allowing me to "Activate/Deactivate" the SAE Add-Ons.
