Difference between Site Advisor 2 and 3?

Jump to solution

Whats the difference between Site Advisor Enterprise Plus Ver 2 and Ver 3?

How do they perform compared with Site Advisor Enterprise Ver 1.7?

Are the new versions a resource hog?

Also, any idea if Site Advisors program can support other browsers like Chrome, Safari and Firefox other than IE?

Thanks in advance!

SAE 1.7 does not do enforcement. Otherwise it has the same features as SAE plus 3.0.

SAE plus 2.0 is no longer supported. Ratings will stop working with this version in the first half of 2011.

SAE plus 3.0 offers integration with McAfee Web Reporter. SAE plus 3.0 with the McAfee Web Filtering for Endpoints module offers category based rating for sites (96 categories). SAE 3.0 plus with ePO 4.5 and MA 4.5 offers user based policies for authorized and prohibited lists.
