MS experts saying due to Mcafee getting Blue screen

Hi

I am a licenced user of Mcafee and I am getting the same problem of blue screen crash. My laptop is giving me this error while running utorrent and it crashes after every 20 min. I am little worried how to solve this. I will be thankful if you tell me how can i solve this problem. recently i have installed service pack 1 for windows 7

Some of the MS experts saying that if i uninstall the mcafee then my problem will be solved however my copy is licenced copy of Mcafee and working fine.

Do you have any update for mcaffee which will resolve my blue screen problem.

I really want to go with mcafee further and do not want to uninstall so please tell me how can i solve this problem

It's unlikely that it's directly attributable to McAfee  - I use McAfee Total Protection and µTorrent and have never had a crash in all the years I've been using both.  It could be what you are downloading is suspect or the source you are downloading it from is a source of malware.

Hopefully someone more qualified than I will come along here but until they do you might want to open a case with Technical Support Online Chat linked under 'Useful Links' at the top of this page, as they are best equipeed to analyze logs, minidumps etc..

The MS forum people are always very quick to blame any of the big names in system protection so without direct proof I would take what they say with a pinch of salt.
