You can open the McAfee UI in the system tray icon in the bottom right and if there are any desktop icon on the device. 

Also you can create desktop shortcut by searching McAfee upon clicking windows icon on your desktop and search for McAfee> Right click and select option open file location and from there we can create desktop shortcut.
