Sometime last year McAfee incorrectly identified and removed conime.exe. That turned out to be an error.
Because I ran a sfc scannow command tonight and looked through the cbs.log, the only error I found was regarding that conime.exe file. When I searched through that log file with 'Cannot repair member file', conime.exe was the only file to appear.
So, in Vista SP1, what are the properties (file size, etc.) for that file in Windows\System32?
I got my hands on a copy of that file but realize there are different versions of that file. What is the latest version of that file or, for you guys who use Vista SP1, what are the properties in the conime.exe you have in System32?
Properties - .exe Console IME v.6.0.6001.18000 67.5kb
If that ever happens again and you know the finding is incorrect forward the file to Avert Labs.
