Where can I download McAfee's QuickClean & Shredder utility? It was an option for download in my Total Protection Security Center before the update but now it's gone. Please provide me with the URL to download. I searched Google and can't even find it. Please assist ASAP.

Simply check for updates if they haven't already installed.
Open SecurityCenter by double-clicking the taskbar icon and clicking PC Optimization
Quckclean should either show as installed or available - if the latter click and download.
Likewise click on Data protection and Backup to expand
Shredder should either be installed or available - if the latter click and download.
There are no options that you speak of. I need a link so I can download this please. PC Optimization is not a feature if you don't have quick clean & shredder utility.
Please help. Just give me a raw link to download or something.
The only download link is the full software download at your account page. You could redownload and install it over the top - it will overwrite the installation.
Right-click the taskbar icon and try updating first.
You could also try running the Virtual Technician to see if it repairs anything.

I have a copy of McAfee QuickClean v6 which includes QuickClean Lite, McAfee Shredder and McAfee Security Center. Cannot attach file here because of size limitation. If still interested, e-mail me at (removed by moderator for your safety) and point me where to send it to.Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 30/05/10 7:03:42 EDT AM
Whilst the gesture is, I am sure, appreciated, Quickclean, Shredder et alia can only be downloaded using the manual update method (right-click the taskbar icon and select updates) or by downloading whatever suite you are using again.
They cannot be installed as a separate item.
Don't ever publish email addresses in public as this will immediately be picked up by spambots.Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 30/05/10 7:07:35 EDT AM
