I have two intruders on my home computer (I don't have a network, it's only one computer), stating they are trusted. The URL's are very similar to my ISP, could they possibly be from Verizon or are they truly intruders? I ran the virtual technician tool and it stated no problems, but when I click on the network icons themselves in my Network Manager it states that they need attention. I unplugged and followed directions for ridding my computer of the intruders, but they appeared again when I turned on my computer and were listed as trusted. What is happening and how do I fix it???????Please Help !
Then open Security Center and click Manage Network over at the left. Click on any of the straight network lines joining the computers then click "Stop Trusting This Network" over at the bottom right. It will disappear.
It's difficult to tell what other things appearing there are sometimes. It can be your router, if you have one, or another machine on or off the premises if you are using wireless connections, so unless you actually use a network, you don't need to trust any. If you ever start using a network then you would only trust machines that you could identify.
