Real Time Scanning Glitch Continues

From reading the discussion, it looks like lots of us keep getting these alerts when we turn on our computers and finding our scanning tool turned off, we turn it on and it turns off again and this goes on in a loop.  After a few minutes I get a notice I need an update and once that is done this scanning turn off cycle ends.  These discussion questions have been going on for some time.  The problem is at least 2 weeks for me.  Is McAfee going to solve it

or  do we have to settle for this until we change our security systems?
