It seems there is a problem with the Macromedia Flash Player (in Windows 8 it is from microsoft, you cannot install another version).

My System is Windows 8 Pro, 64 bit. Total Protection Security Center is 12.1, Build 12.1.253.

This problem occurs today the first time. Only change to system was downloading and installing microsoft updates. No registry cleaners are used.

Re: Problems with McAfee Security Center after Microsoft Patch-Day 12.02.2013

I was hoping to shed some light on this in my Win 8 Pro w/MC x64 but realised that I have SC v12.5 - no such event can be found.  In fact I'm surprised that there are no red-flagged events at all in my rig.

I'm so used to several red warnings in Vista and Win 7 that I tend to ignore them unless there are actual issues.

Is it causing any malfunctions anywhere?

BTW you can install Adobe Flash & Shockwave yourself if you have other browsers installed.

Thank you for replying.

No malfunctions anywhere.

Good advice with another browser, but I think one browser is enough.

If it's not causing issues I would ignore it in that case.   If you see a problem then Technical Support would be the best place to have it checked out.

Meanwhile there may be others who are seeing this and hopefully spot this thread.
