Problems after install of Mcafee 2011

hi.. i need your help...  i need to install the antivirus suite on vmware dektops... but all the products hangs the mahines after the installation.. do you know if mcafee works in vmware enviroments ..

the hang problems begins when we have more that 20 clients installed.... and i need to protect more than 200 clients.

200 clients.  Are you sure you are talking home products here?  I branched this to its own discussion as it has nothing to do with the original thread.

McAfee home products are compatible with VM's as long as the operating systems therein are within the System Requirements as posted on the regular product webpages and the VM's are hosted in compatible operating systems too.

  • Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit) with Service Pack 1 (SP1)
  • Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)

System Requirements

  • 1 GHz processor or higher
  • 800 × 600 or higher resolution
  • 512 MB RAM or higher for Windows XP

Supported Browsers for Anti-Phishing

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.5 or later

Supported Email Programs
