McAfee won't download/install updates. When I attempt to update, the red banner will turn to green, but within minutes, I get the red banner again and it tells me my PC is vulnerable. Attempts I've made to correct the problem: (1) I read that you shouldn't intall McAfee over Malwarebytes, so I removed Malwarebytes and reinstalled McAfee. (2) I ran Virtual Technician but it didn't detect any problem. (3) From the McAfee techncail support area it recommended unselecting "Use Access Protection", but that failed to help as well. Any suggestions? Thanks.

We need more details please. What version of McAfee is this? Open SecurityCenter and click About and post just the version for SecurityCenter.
Also post what operating system and service pack (if applicable) you are using (right-click Computer on desktop or in Start Menu and select Properties) and, very important whether you use it or not, what version of Internet Explorer is installed. (Open it and click Help > About).
Also check your system clock (bottom right corner of the desktop and make sure the time AND time-zone are correct.
Also are you permanently connected to the Internet and if so how many networks are showing in Windows Network and Sharing Center?

System clock settings are correct.
There is only one network.
I don't recommend disabling Access Protection for any length of time. When you reinstalled McAfee did you run the MCPR cleanup and reboot before reinstalling, and was that install from your on\line account rather than any CD you may have?
