lakshmi, I just downloaded MVT 5.5.2.0 and it's working ok now.
Virus Scan just updated to version 5900 so I assume all is ok. I'd been worried that it wasn't updating but seems ok.
Scheduled scan has not started again!!!!! was set to run at 04.00, waited until 04.40, still nothing so I'm running a manual scan!! I set my scans to run wed-fri-sun at 04.00, never had a problem with v9. And the clock's right!!

I scheduled a scan at 8.00 this morning, it started at 8.35 ????

Check the system date & time and make sure they are set as per your local time zone ?

Regarding the scheduled scan not starting. Just got news that it is a known issue and they hope for a patch to fix it in April or May.

I reinstalled from the O2 cd which gave me V9 and MVT worked fine. But when I reinstalled V10, MVT
reports no McAfee even with the MVT update.

The no components installed issue is known and happens sometimes with 3rd party provided protection such as O2.
