McAfee Support,

I see that others have as well experienced this issue as indicated in discussion thread, https://community.mcafee.com/thread/67268?start=10&tstart=0.  I would have replied there though the discussion was locked.

Can you please as well supply me with the solution for this issue?

That thread you link was solved for the OP by a support technician who sometimes drops in here.  Technical Support is available free of charge by phone or online chat, however we need to know what McAfee software are you using and what operating system and service pack?   Then I can steer you in the right direction hopefully.

Thanks Ex_Brit, following is the requested info.  It sure would be nice to simply have the solution posted in the thread in which it was resolved so that others can attempt to apply the same solution without having to bug support. That's the beauty of a community forum in the first place. ;-)

Is this an error in Event Viewer (if so I would ignore it) or is the software actually saying it isn't OK (displaying a red banner)?  If the latter try running the Virtual Technician as it often fixes things as it is constantly updated.
