Ok, recently i have strated to get the Windows Message saying that my PC is not protected. When I look at McAfee's Icon, it has a small red x on the icon. When I open the Security Center, it shows a lot of components as disabled.
A screenshot of the Security Center,
When I hit the Fix button, it works for some time the it says that componets could not be fixed because of some error.
I tried installing McAfee Virtual Technician, but that too fails to install. This is what it says,
i don't know what to do, please help.
Windows 7 64-bit
SecurityCenter Version: 9.15
DAT version: 6103.0000
Note: Also after windows loads, i see a blank blue screen for quite sometime and only after i wait for a significant amount of time, does Windows Explorer load. I don't know of this is related but thought it'd be wise to mention.

ok, reinstalling would be a problem as I don't have a very fast internet connection. And I didn't get an installation CD as it came bundled with the Laptop I bought. And also, would i have to buy McAfee again because my licence has not expired yet and would still want to continue on that licence.
Thank you for your reply but is there anyway i can fix this problem without uninstalling the whole thing?? if not, anyway i could transfer my licence?
Only resolution for this issue is to reinstall McAfee. If your Internet connection is slow alternative method is to go for recover CD.
Summary: This document shows you where you can buy the Discover and Recover CD.
At the time of purchase, there is an option to buy the product as a Package which includes a backup CD. If you did not choose this option, you can purchase a Discover & Recover CD at any time.
The Discover and Recover CD is a backup of your security service. In the event of hard drive failures, system crashes, or ISP problems, you can restore your service in seconds.

apparently i didn't have to reinstall it, McAfee did an autoupdate that replaced the security center and now, everything is working fine. I didn't have to BUY mcafee again or BUY anything from Mcafee again. So the problem got rid of it's self, thanks for your help anyway.
