Is McAfee necessary?

First off the annoying mcafee adds that either tell me to buy their security or “accept risk” really annoy me. So my question is is protecting me from that ris192.168.1.254 k “really” worth it? I don’t do anything prone to viruses on my computer. If a security system is necessary are there any free alternatives to Mcafee? Thanks in advance.

Re: Is McAfee necessary?

Hi @gehilpiku84

It is good to have an antivirus program installed for a PC. McAfee automatically detects and removes viruses, trojans and malwares and keeps your device safe and ease to use. It also keeps you safe from suspicious or vulnerable websites.
