Your message is clear and understood.

There is good news-------------------McAfee s/w is installed and working ok. I cleared out the System Tray ( screen bottom right ) closed every thing else and downloaded etc.

I think that it stopped where it stopped before and stated about the memory and think that there were 2 options; 1 SKIP   2 CANCEL      ( I think

I pressed cancel before so I tried Skip and it carried on doing checks etc and to cut a long story short IT WORKED. ( as it did before, of course.)

The matter is resolved.  Well done. From a happier  dadco.

Well that's good news...and too bad you pressed the wrong option to start with.  No harm done!!

Seriously think about boosting your RAM.  It will surprise you what a difference in performance it will make.
