D: HELP please T_T

for some reason my mcaffe just shows up blank D: i wait for something to pop up but nothing happens it just keeps staying blank i dont know what else to do anymore Smiley Frustrated  please help i have no idea what is going on :/

Hi,

A blank window is due to the script engine that is not functioning properly.

Step 1: Try to run McAfee Virtual Technician (MVT) this is an automated self-healing tool that can diagnose and fix many problems related to your McAfee product.

You can download and run McAfee Virtual Technician (MVT) from mvt.mcafee.com

Step 2: Re-register JScript.dll / VBScript.dll & SCRRUN.dll

  • Click Start and select Search.
  • In the Search box, type CMD and click OK.
  • In the Search results window, right-click CMD and select Run as Administrator.
  • In the command prompt, type REGSVR32 SCRRUN.DLL and press ENTER.
  • After the confirmation message is displayed
  • In the command prompt, type REGSVR32 JSCRIPT.DLL and press ENTER.
  • After the confirmation message is displayed,
  • In the command prompt, type REGSVR32 VBSCRIPT.DLL and press ENTER.
  • Close the command prompt.
  • Reboot the PC and verify the McAfee product.

Kindly update me once after trying the above steps.

is there any other page that you could give me because " mvt.mcafee.com " seems to be " error / the specified discussion was not found" please and thanks for the reply

when i run the mcafee technician it just stays as a white screen :s i wait a while but nothing seems to change

Let Jai comment I thought as there was a correct answer shown things were ok now.

Is that windows 8?

what the computer? its a Dell inspiron 1110 windows 7 64-bit operating system D: and i havent tried it because the Mcafee Virtual technician doesnt seem to be working properly i open it and its just a Blank window nothing appers or happens ._.

It seems like an issue with internet explorer. Can you check the version and cypher strength of Internet explorer by checking about option for Internet explorer.

If those informations are not showing correctly, please rollback to previous version of Internet explorer.

ive tried but idk whats going on it still wont work and im worried about my computer getting a virus Smiley Frustrated and its frustrating :@

So you are running IE8 now as Jai suggested This assuming you had IE9. Have you tried setting IE to defaults?
