Configuring Scans

I have two separate hard drives on my PC:- C drive contains Windows 7 and McAfee. D drive contains Vista and it's own security software.

When McAfee carries out a scan on the C drive it also scans the D drive, which is not needed and doubles the scan time.

How can I exclude the D drive from all scans by McAfee? Wherever I find D listed in McAfee I have unticked it but still it scans it.

Re: Configuring Scans

That's not an option on the Scheduled Scan unfortunately.  We have suggested it many times.

If you do a manual scan then you can choose where to scan.

Re: Configuring Scans

Thanks for your reply. It certainly would be a useful addition to the software.

Re: Configuring Scans

That and the ability to exclude files and folders....we can hope that it happens at some stage.
