I've got securitycenter 9.3 installed and my laptop is running on Vista Enterprise. This is the problem:
I can't see the printers of the main pc in easynetwork. Sending and receiving files works fine though
We have another laptop(vista home) and after my father has worked on it all day it can share printers! He thinks it works because he installed some drivers of the printer, but he could already see the printer i need in the windows printer menu. I installed the drivers and ofcourse that didnt work.. Does anyone know what the real problem is? Or do you know anything i could try to solve my problem?
I don't use it myself but the User Guide states (page 222 onwards) that Easy Network only works if it is installed on all machines. So those printers would all have to be attached to machines with it installed.
I am unable to determine if you are trying to share printers installed on your machine or access remote printers on another machines or both. Could you describe the steps you are using to see or share the printer(s)?
You mentioned another Laptop PC that is able to share printers. Did you mean the Laptop can access remote printers instead?
Since you are running Vista Enterprise, is the system on a domain or using a security policy from the Vista source install?
