make sure you backup config/settings + anything else you think is worth keeping. Physical appliance you will need an iso from support and make a bootable dvd with that iso.

SSSSYYYY is correct there is no way to roll back. You would want a full backup of the ESM and an ELM backup. If an issue occurs first contact support to see if they can resolve it but have the backups ready if needed.

Thank You,
Eric

I believe you won't be able to roll back after an upgrade, only reimage it back to earlier version.

reimage if it's a physical appliance, or redeploy VM if virtual. What is the reason that you want to roll back after upgrade?

we have a physical appliance, in fact I am new on SIEM and I have never worked on it and I want to update it but I am afraid to cause a problem if the update does not work, it that's why I want to take my precautions.

how can I do reimage ?
