WMI Event Log test connection unsuccessful. Error: Invalid name (ER242).

Getting this when i try to test the connection to my data source.  Not really sure what's happening. ESM 10.4

This has happened to me before when the 'host name' field is blank - do you have the host name field populated with the value of the target system?

Yes.  host name and the IP address filled in.

Can you paste a screenshot of the data source config? (redact any sensitive data if applicable)

Testing the connection fails when testing the data source  or the client

can you resolve the IP for the target and connect to it from ERC on the port?

Try selecting RPC and retesting.

Tried that and got the same error.

I rebooted the receiver and it started polling most of the hosts.  I still have some that listed as inactive.  The reciever isn't polling hosts that use DHCP.  I checked the log anf this is what I'm getting for DHCP hosts (these are windows 10 machinnes)

w/ NTStatus: NT_STATUS_INVALID_INFO_CLASS - Invalid information class
