I want to whitelist some  chatty servers  creating tons of logs. (Ex : snmp polling from monitoring server.

Suggestion on 'how to' is really appriciated.

Re: Turn Down the Volume

Want to whitelist traffic on IDS which is generating these logs.

Trying to figure out how to exclude  known traffic from  getting  logged.

(eg  A source to B dest on port 161 should be excluded  from inpection for other traffic from  A to B on other port is getting inspected.
