SIEM initial setup

I have just installed the trial version of SIEM 11.4 on a VM and booted it. However I am not getting the screen where I can put in the initial configuration like the IP address of the SIEM.

On the contrary I am getting a login screen, the default username and password is not working.

11.4.1 has known issue for VM installation.

But the screen shows you have a problem entering the credentials.

At the login prompt I was trying the default NGCP username and password which was not working so following your advice I tried the root and w3e4r5t6 credentials which worked and I was able to login. Following that I setup the IP address for the device and then I was login to the device via the web browser and the administrator app using the NGCP and security.4u login details.

The issue I have got now is that I dont have the local receiver added. Can you please let me know the steps to add this. Basically I want to add an ePO to the SIEM and get events.

For the ERC you need to add a new VM ERC & then add it as a device to the ESM GUI using the add device button.
