Hi Team,
We have integrated DB servers through SIEM collector and able to receive logs also. Since yestrday logs are not receiving and as checked SIEM collector is up and running but it is connecting to RECEIVER. KIndly suggest the possible trouble shooting steps.

Hi SantosheS
first you need to understand where is the problem, in the collector side or in the SIEM side,
check firewall logs try to trace the entire path from point to point
ssh to SIEM enter command
tcpdump -i eth0 host (the collectores ip)
see if you get somthing.
Best regards

You may want to disable and then re-enable the DS on the SIEM side then roll out policy.
On the collector side, stop the services and restart them. The debug log is also a good place to help troubleshoot connectivity issues. Since you don't have SSL encryption checked those setting should be exact on the DS side in the ESM.
You must validate the following
1.- You need to create the data source first in the receiver, then you need to validate if port 8081 is open, you can use
netstat -ant | grep 8082
tcp 0 0 :::8082 :::* LISTEN
tcp 0 0 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx :8082 ::ffff:192.168.17:60321 ESTABLISHED
2.- Valid the debug.log file in the "Program Files \Mcafee\Windows Event collector"
I hope this information is of your use
