SIEM Prepends data to JSON - How to parse?

I am sending JSON logs to the siem. I created the parser based on a sample of raw log. However, it doesn't work because for some reason SIEM is prepending "<14>" to the beginning of the log.

    Raw Log:   {"My": "Data", "json": "values"}

    SIEM's version: <14>{"My": "Data", "json": "values"}

Because of this added value my parser isn't working at all. How do I either get siem to stop adding this, or get the parser to look past it??
