Mcafee Agent Removal Attempt False Positive

We keep getting the Mcafee Agent Removal Attempt logs everytime a client of ours updates his agent. We have been told by the mcafee support team that this is a regular event happening because as part of the update the agent removes itself and reinstalls itself. So whenever we send out an update we get hundreds of events which are false postivies making the actual monitoring of such events a hassle. Is there a way to tell if the event has happened as a part of a update?
