How to not collect historical logs via OPSEC (Checkpoint and ESM)
We have configured ESM to receive/collect logs through LEA OPSEC and a Checkpoint environment. The configuration of the data source works, but we see old (historical) logs a week ago or so. We would like to start from the current date/time, because downloading a lot of old logs (huge amount of data in this case) is not what we want to do. It takes up a lot of unnecessary resources and our ESM struggle to catch-up.
Do you know if this can be configured in ESM or in Checkpoint SmartCenter anywhere? I e what logs should be collected/presented (from a date/time perspecitve). I would like to state "collect logs from today time x and onwards, and skip older logs weeks back...)
