In v9.3.2, there is a better way to update watchlists automatically.  If you create a dynamic watchlist, you'll see that you can periodically update a watchlist via any of the following methods:

- Query on ESM strings

- Query on ESM rule names

- File import via any of the following options:

     - Windows file share (CIFS)

     - FTP

     - NFS

     - SCP

     - SFTP

- DB query

     - Hadoop

     - MS SQL

     - MySQL

     - Oracle

- LDAP query

- Real Time for ePO query

That's what I'm talking about, loading values from mysql works like a charm in 9.3.2.
