Having issue with Custom Parser

When putting regex in to an ASP rule. The custom fields are not parsing out. I receive no errors when configuring the parser and everything looks correct within the configuration. Does anyone have tips/tricks for the custom parser to work as expected? this is for proofpoint but have noticed this with other data sources as well. Thank you

Re: Having issue with Custom Parser

If the fields are not parsing then the regex doesn't match the data or is incompatible with the regex permitted in ASP rules (re2).

Try simplifying your regular expressions and make sure you're avoiding functionality which is incompatible e.g. backreferences.

Please try testing your regex on using the Golang option (as that uses re2) and see if it shows any syntax errors or produces your expected capture groups.
