Forwarding a single data source to another server

We need to forward some Apache and IIS Web Server logs to another system for near-real time analytic processing. Ideally we can forward the logs in the original log format. We looked at the doing this through data archiving and syslog forwarding but neither seems like it will work.

Apache Web Server --syslog--> McAfee Receiver --> access.log forwarding --> Linux Server running analysis tools over Apache Logs.

Does the Apache web server use rsyslog to forward the events? If so you can just define 2 destinations in the rsyslog config.
