Flash Hotfix SIEM 11.3 - ELM NitroStop and Healthmon

Hi,

In our lab, we are installing the Flash hotfix for ESM 11.3. Installing it on the ESM itself was no issue, but for the ELM, I'm seeing an issue when trying to stop Nitro programs.

1. NitroStop --nod = Getting a response of "NotOk NitroStart in progress"

2. service healthmon stop = "Stopping device health monitor"

When I go to run the patch (perl patch.pl), it gives an error saying this script cannot be run while healthmon is running. I believe it's an issue with NitroStop. Any thoughts as to what can be done to fully stop Nitro?

Hi,

Thank you for the response. I don't think it's an issue with the hotfix itself, but the ELM. I restarted the ELM yesterday and this morning it still says the NitroStart is in progress. If I look in /var/log/messages, the Database is rebuilding all the time, non-stop it seems. There's an error every now and then (HealthStatus.data failed), otherwise it's "healthmon.init[7794] and [3953] almost constantly. Any thoughts as to what that could be?
