ERC re-image

Hi, While re-imaging the ERC-1260 I faced the error "Errors detected during installation".

I was able to make the system boot from USB DVDdrive. Please take a look at the attached screenshot.

The image which I received from the support is “ERC.lockediso-9.6.1MR1.iso” . Is there anything to do with the image name as it is saying "lockediso”.

Please let me know if you have faced the same issue.P_20170725_081530 (1).jpg

exact same error happened to me once I tried to reimage a ACE with locked.ERC. So make sure you are using the correct device iso when reimaging ERC.

Image is getting detected correctly on both the receivers.I cross checked this with support as well.They said image is fine.

How did you fix it ? I am using LG USB DVD drive

I too use LG USB DVD. I think make sure you are trying to reimage an ERC device, and verify the checksum of the iso before you burn it onto DVD. I use ImgBurn with 2x speed.

Thanks sssyyy.. I was able to re-image the appliance using the imgburn..I guess something wrong with the PowerISO while making the dvd bootable.

By any chance, does anyone have this image file ? Would like to have a copy of it for restoration purpose.
