Diffrence between "child" and "client" data source?

Jump to solution

Hello all,

can anybody explain me what is the difference between "Child data source" and "Client data source"? Is it only related with number of supported data sources by receiver or with something else?

Thanks.

If it is a child data source, we can use different credentials that the parent and still be a child. Also, the child can be a different type of data source.

If it is client data source, it will use the parent data source credentials. Here, the chiid should be of same data soruce type as the parent.
