Deleting records with a CLI command

Is it possible to delete certain records from the ESM database from the command line in a ssh session on the ESM ?

I am asking this because I want to delete a data source but before deleting it, I want to delete its records from the ESM database.

I know that in any view, I can choose "Delete => Selected" or "Delete => All" from the Pancake menu once I have filtered the records I want to delete, but this freezes the GUI until the deletion is completed.

Since I have many records to delete and it will take many hours, I would prefer to ssh to the ESM and enter commands to delete the records.

If you feel adventorous you could try to do it with the nsql .

IIRC events are in Alert table. I have no idea which field contains DS identifier though...
