Define Virtual ELM Storage Pools

Hello.

Currently it is implemented in an ESM client including ELM and ERC in virtual mode. The ELM has a capacity of 3 TB, however it is not possible to configure the storage pool as it does not appear blank. How can I create a storage pool with the capacity we currently have? The client needs all records to be retained in the ELM, they are being saved in the ESM.

Re: Define Virtual ELM Storage Pools

Virtual ELM data storage must not be shared with the system volume.  This can be done by adding VM disks or connecting to network shares, iscsi volumes or supported SAN volumes.   Typically on VMs either network shares or VM disks are used.

One disk must be at least 600GB to store the ELM management database.  Additional volumes can be any size you like, however I recommend making them as large as you can as the overheads of creating a storage device are more significant the smaller the disk is.
