DC not showing failed logins

Jump to solution

In a few of our clients we have working domain controlers which are not showing us Failed login events and locked accounts events. My guess is that it's something to do with the log configuration at the domain controller device. We are configured to be getting SYSTEM,APPLICATION,SECURITY logs  from these DCS. Has anyone encountered such an issue before or knows how to fix this in the DC Device?

Hi

i was issuing the problem in the past

and yes, usually it's in the DC server Configurations !

Contact the Windows Administrator in your Network.

But it's good Checking your side as well...

look in the SIEM's policy if there's a Windows rule Disabled.

Could be that this parsing rules are disabled by accident...

Best regards.
