Connect Error after upgrading to 10.4

Jump to solution

Hello,

Yesterday I upgraded the siem to 10.4 version.

Now i'm facing a strange issue:

While i'm pressing the "connect" bottom on any type of device (checkpoint, linux os, windows etc) im getting error - invalid user (ER10) - doesn't make sense because the logs are coming fine from all the devices, so its not an incorrecct username/IP/hostname.

It doesn't matter if I'm using the rpc option.

i figured out that when the username isn't contain the domian name (with the back slash) i'm not getting the same error but instead of that "access denied" error pop-up, the user i'm using can log to the devices and it was like this before the upgrade without any errors.

The logs are coming so its not a FW issue.

I saw that there is a problem called siem-11657

https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/enterprise-security-manager-11.3.x-release-notes/page/GUID-440F605F-9...

But Yesterday after the upgrade it worked fine, its just from today morning.

please help

thanks
