Configuring a Linux datasource

I have some Linux data sources that have a primary and a secondary IP address, each address is on a different subnet. Is there a way to configure the data source with the primary address and have the secondary address as an alias?

Re: Configuring a Linux datasource

With no knowledge of your systems...... If you are just sending syslog from that machine wouldn't the content be the same or do you have a container or other OS involved?   A data source is based on IP of the sender.  In the recent versions you can send multiple syslog streams from the same IP but on different ports on on the receiver.

I'd suggest digging into the docs for your release and then ask support if you can't find an answer...
