Cannot Logout the session using REST API

I'm using the api with suffix "/rs/esm/logout"

setting auth header : "authorization":"Session 123456"

doing a DELETE http method (without body)

Then I test the logout by doing a login , then using the session id created for the delete method.
But I'm getting http 401 error :
ERROR_InvalidSession (1)

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Cannot Logout the session using REST API

, did you ever get an answer to this question? I am receiving the same error.

Re: Cannot Logout the session using REST API

In case anyone stumbles across this in the future, I was able to get this working with the V2 API /rs/v2/esm/logout with appropriate headers, cookie, and an HTTP method of DELETE.
