There are 2 default user accounts in the McAfee ESM product: POLICY and REPORT. Is it possible to disable or (preferably) remove these accounts? Is there any impact to either disabling or removing them.
Yes, we are currently in our yearly PCI assessment and the QSA has suggested that we should either remove or disable the accounts in question. I believe that those are local accounts and as our organization uses AD authentication, probably not capable of being used regardless, but to address the finding we need to either remove or disable them.
