Adding ePO database details to ESM without SQL Server Mgmt Studio installed?

Jump to solution

Hello,

I am connecting an ePO to ESM as a device.

However, SQL Server Mgmt Studio is not installed in the ePO database server.

I have used the details found under '..../core/config' page but it's not connecting.

As per the guide, the account should have following details:

Is it possible to achieve above configuration if SQL Server Mgmt. Studio is not installed?

Thank you.

Test the connectivity use the account that ePO connects to DB, if that works, then you can work on making a new user account for SIEM to use.

You can use the ePO <-> DB credentials, but you don't have to.
