How do I configure the SaaS to authenticate users using Active Directory credentials when they're not connected to the company network? I want to use a hybrid setup. I'm using ePO and have the Directory Services Connector installed and uploading users and groups to the SaaS but can't figure out how to configure the AD authentication.
you can use the McAfee Client Proxy. it should already be part of your SaaS product. you can download the extension for EPO and set a central policy and distribute MCP to the notebooks. it gets programmed with the customer ID, etc, so that it automatically looks for those accounts you've updated up to SaaS through the DSC. from there, it redirects web traffic to the SaaS servers, no matter where it is.
Do i need to write two policies in my in-house web gateway? 1. Authentication using radius server( For In-House) and 2. Authenticate using client proxy(For Off-Premise users)?
