Is there any Notification feature for Web Surffing in McAfee Total Protecion - Parental Controls ?

Hello Dear Community,

I'm using McAfee Total Protection, specifically Parental Control feature, and I need to be aware about my beloved ones' activity over the Web, because I need to protect them against the bad web content (obscene, offensive, porn, etc.).  I was trying such feature, and It shows a report locally where this product is installed, and the license owner is logged in at, but it's not always possible to be in front of a PC with such conditions, so my question is:  Is there any way to access those Web surffing reports via web or sent via email set at installation time ?

This for example would help a lot when in travel.

Your advice is welcome.

Le Mike

,

To answer your question, I use McAfee Total Protection personally. You can indeed control what websites accessed, to include 'Blocking' particular access to (Porn/Social/Malicious/ and so on. Being I have Grandchildren I utilize this feature.

Simply open your McAfee GUI,and click on 'Help', then at the (left) click on Help again, and scroll down to 'Parental Controls' and follow the instructions.

All the Best,

CD

Thank you very much for your advice CatDaddy!, although I followed your advice, I unfortunately didn't find any feature that allows me to access those Parental Control Reports via Web, or through an email address for checking them from my email inbox.

Basically the main goal is monitoring the Web Surffing in a regular basis from anywhere the parent(s) is/are.

I hope there's a way to achieve this.

Thanks very much my friend.

Hi ,

Although Parental Controls are a feature that is included with McAfee Total Protection, it may be that you should check out McAfee Family Protection?

Internet Content Filtering, Social Network Monitoring, Parental Controls, Firewall Security | Family...

All the very Best,

CD

Even Family Protection wont allow you to alter settings remotely as far as I can tell.  It will email you with reports however.

Best speak to Customer Service for advice on this.

It's a free phone call.

It will allow one to 'Monitor' the  the 'Web Surfing' as well as receive email notifications in regards to what the children may be doing. Good advice to contact Customer Service to be more informed.
